Rookie safety Kenny Phillips will make his first NFL start tomorrow night, because James Butler (knee) is officially out. Butler tried to practice yesterday, but was unable to participate today. Eli Manning is a good dude. He recently donated a drawing of himself to charity. According to the NY Daily News, Howard Stern and Eli Manning are among the celebs who’ve donated drawings to tonight’s Doodle for Hunger IX auction benefiting the Capuchin Food Pantries. Coming into this season the team to win the XXLII Super Bowl last season wasn't even the favorite to come out of their own division in the NFC East, but after 7 wins with only 1 loss the Eli Manning and the New York Giants are looking to be the team to beat not only in their division but in the entire NFL.

By all indications, winning a Super Bowl and being named MVP of same have not impacted Eli Manning's helmet size.Neither does his headgear seem to be a heavier burden for the New York Giants' fifth-year quarterback, who will lead the NFC's best team into Lincoln Financial Field Sunday Night.

Eli Manning already knows its going to happen even before he leaves the Giants huddle. The oposing defense will figure out were Plaxico Burress' is lining up and shift another guy to that side.  Double teams do wonders to shift the balance in your favor.  I hope Plaxico realizes that how valuable this is even though it won't show on the stats sheet.
